13TH ANNUAL BBQ & BREWS BASH: BACKYARD EDITION TO BENEFIT GATEWAY LONGVIEW AND NEW DIRECTIONS GOES

Fundraiser to benefit the work of both organizations and the families they serve.



Buffalo, NY – Gateway Longview and New Directions Youth & Family Services are gearing up for the 13th Annual BBQ & Brews Bash: Backyard Edition on Wednesday, May 19th. Due to the pandemic, this year will be a virtual experience. Attendees can expect a great silent auction and raffle and a video presentation. Proceeds benefit over 10,000 Western New York children and families who receive support from Gateway Longview and New Directions Youth & Family Services, two agencies committed to protecting and fostering good for children, youth, and families in Western New York.


“By joining forces with New Directions, event supporters will impact more local children and families than ever before,” said Board Chair Michael Ervin.


“The collaboration of our two organizations allows us to expand our reach and increase the impact of this great event,” said Carolyne DeFranco, CEO of Gateway Longview. “We are so thankful for all of our sponsors and auction donors, they make our work possible.”

Auction items will go live on Monday, May 17th and the auction will close at 8:30pm on the 19th. Winners will be notified via email after the event closes. This event is generously sponsored by, Ellicott Development, Independent Health, Colecraft Commercial Furnishings Inc., Nottingham Advisors, Lawley Insurance, Walsh Duffield, Employee Benefit Concepts, Alesco Advisors, Try-It Distributing, Labatt, Audacy, Upstate Pharmacy, Personal Touch Food Service, Amherst Security Professionals, and BXI Consultants. Sponsorship packages are available with all proceeds benefiting Gateway Longview and New Directions Youth & Family Services, directly impacting over 10,000 Western New York children and families served by the agencies.
