COVID-19

Summer 2020 Update

Important Updates from Gateway Longview regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19):

We are closely monitoring the situation with local, state and federal agencies and reinforcing guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and NYS Department of Health (DOH). As conditions evolve it is with an abundance of caution that Gateway Longview issues the following:

Effective immediately, Gateway Longview employees will begin to work remotely.  This includes our entire workforce with the exception of on-site essential employees such as residential services.

We will continue to serve our community during this time.  Our regulatory agencies have lifted some of the regulations in order to ease service delivery.  The office of mental health has allowed us to temporarily provide telehealth, including web-based and telephonic sessions.  Gateway Longview will utilize these services for our community-based, outpatient and home-based counseling programs.  Allowing our staff and clients to participate in therapy sessions without traveling to the office.  Please consult your Gateway staff member for specific program information.

Although building sites are currently closed to the public, many programs are still providing services to our youth and families remotely. Please consult your Gateway staff member for specific program information.

Our number one priority is the safety of our youth, families, clients and employees and to help continue our mission to protect, enrich and give hope to the children and families we serve.
