News Release: Gateway Longview Services Remain Open To Assist The Community



Buffalo, NY – Gateway Longview, a community leader in behavioral and mental health, will continue offering services to support youth and families in the community. With approval and support from the New York State Department of Mental Health, and adhering to guidelines of local, state and federal agencies, Gateway Longview will temporarily provide telehealth treatment, including web-based and telephonic sessions. Gateway Longview will utilize these services for our community-based, outpatient and home-based counseling programs, allowing staff and families to participate in therapy sessions without traveling to the office.

Gateway Longview’s Northtowns and Downtown Behavioral Health Clinic will remain open for new and established youth between the ages of 3 and 21 via telehealth services. For those that have not been contacted by a clinician or psychiatry provider, or wish to setup an appointment during this time, please call 716-783-3221 or visit www.gateway-longview.org/bhc. For those representing a school district or primary care office, please refer your student or families to the number listed above or visit www.gateway-longview.org/bhc.

Gateway Longview’s Foster Care, Therapeutic Foster Care, SILP, YES, IL, Parent Training, Residential and Visitation services ALL remain open and will operate via virtual means, in addition to home visits when necessary. Gateway Longview’s intake office also remains open. Each situation is assessed and the specific needs of youth and families is addressed as needed.
