Gateway Longview is "Full of Thanks" for The Rite Aid Foundation

The Rite Aid Foundation has generously gifted Gateway Longview with a $5,000 grant as part of its Full of Thanks holiday program. As a result, the Gateway Longview Foundation has decided to use this grant toward much needed improvements in the Lynde School library.

"These funds will help provide critical resources to enhance the media resources available for the students in our school," said Tim Girard, Director of the Lynde School.

The Rite Aid Foundation created this special holiday program to help more than 400 KidCents partner charities across the country to advance their efforts to improve the health, safety and wellbeing of children in their communities. In total, The Rite Aid Foundation is donating nearly $2.1 million this year through its Full of Thanks holiday program.

“Our KidCents partner charities embody Rite Aid’s commitment to be a caring neighbor in the communities we serve. There is no better time than Giving Tuesday to show our appreciation to these organizations for all they do throughout the year,” said Jessica Kazmaier, president of The Rite Aid Foundation Board of Directors and chief human resources officer for Rite Aid. “This is our way to show we are full of thanks for our partners and the important work they do to provide kids with better lives, brighter futures and increased opportunities.”

We are Full of Thanks to The Rite Aid Foundation for recognizing and supporting all we do throughout the year to protect, enrich, and give hope. Thanks to partners like The Rite Aid Foundation, we look forward to continuing our work to make a difference in the lives of children in our communities this holiday season and in the new year.
