Volunteer With Us

Whether you're able to give two hours during a one-time visit, or two hours once a month, you can be sure that your time is invested well. So much of what volunteers accomplish at Gateway Longview would not be feasible without the donated time, passion, and commitment of our community.

Are you the crafty type? Do you like to make things with your hands? Please see our list of needed items! Hand made items such as knitted hats and mittens does not count toward volunteer hours, but are considered a donation. We certainly do appreciate all your creativity, hard work and consideration.

Youth Mentoring Program

Youth in our Residential program often have very limited, or sometimes no, supportive resources in the community. We look to mentors for help with fun, uplifting, and engaging activities that enrich lives and create lasting memories.

  • Career Overviews + Job Shadowing - share what you do with our youth

  • Life Skills - help our youth build and practice crucial everyday skills

Help teach youth how to cook a family style meal, have a game night, or movie night, teach a fitness class, financial skills, relationship building or study tips.
