Funding for sensory toys needed

Gateway Longview is launching a therapeutic toy fund to purchase toys, games, and other sensory tools for the youth in Gateway Longview’s care. Gateway Longview started this campaign with Give 716 Day raising over $1,100, and is using the funds earned to kick-start the new Therapeutic Toy Fund.
This new campaign will allow Gateway Longview to purchase brand-new items for counselors, staff, clients and students. These funds will allow Gateway Longview to purchase therapeutic toys for use during counseling sessions, sensory toys to calm down on a stressful day, and sports equipment to exercise their mind and body.
“We are so excited to launch this drive,” said Allison Newman, Operating Officer for Education, “Our counselors provide amazing care and support to our students. These sensory toys and games will allow them to expand their practice.”
Those interested in participating and donating to Gateway Longview’s Therapeutic Toy Fund can visit gateway-longview.org/toyfund or can make checks payable to Gateway Longview Foundation, 6350 Main Street, Williamsville NY 14221.

The company is taking an important step by launching a toy fund to provide for children. This approach not only brings joy to children, but also helps them adapt better, learn to interact with the world around them and cope with difficult moments. Such initiatives show how important attention and care for each child is, inspire with modern game ideas with adventure and exploration, where you can feel how gamification and creativity can change perception and bring new emotions.
