Volunteers offer priceless contributions to children and families in care.
Your service to Gateway Longview helps support youth of all ages, and their families, in countless ways.
Whether you’re new to Gateway Longview or already have a special connection to our mission of working together to protect, to give hope, and to enrich the lives of every child and family we serve, we are thankful for your gift of time and talents.
The first step in becoming a volunteer is filling out our Volunteer & Intern Application Form.
Once complete, applications can be emailed to email@example.com or sent via mail to:
Attn: Volunteer Engagement Specialist
6350 Main Street
Williamsville, New York 14221
Once received, we will determine where your qualifications and interests match needs we currently have. We will then follow up with you directly regarding next steps, including meeting with the program director at the site where your help is needed.
Because our agency works directly with children and families in the community, most often volunteers will be asked to complete a background clearance, which is done by our agency. Please keep in mind that this clearance is done via a state registry, and can often take a few weeks to a month to process. A copy of a valid government issued photo identification, references and attendance at agency orientation may also be required, depending on placement.
Should you have questions, please feel free to contact us directly at any time – firstname.lastname@example.org or 716.783.3100 ext. 3106.
We look forward to hearing from you!
