Working together to protect, enrich, and give hope

November is National Adoption Month

Each year, November is recognized as National Adoption Month to bring awareness to the more than 100,000 children in foster care waiting for permanent, loving families. For the Quebral family, this month is extra, extra special. Two years ago, Frank and Katie Quebral opened their hearts and home to two newborns, Brandon and Lilly. The two babies remained in their foster care until they were officially adopted by the Quebrals on November 7, 2014. The toddlers thrived while in foster care with the Quebrals and they now have a loving “forever family” thanks to adoption.
Here is their story as shared on the CW23’s Wingin’ It! Buffalo Style TV show on November 24:
There are approximately 800 children in Erie County in need of foster care, and sadly, that number is growing. If you or someone you know would like to learn more about foster care or adoption, click here or call us at (716) 783-2909.
