SEFCU Adopts Residential Cottages for Christmas

Thank you, SEFCU!
…for adopting six residential cottages

Our friends at SEFCU went above and beyond to make the holidays bright for youth residing in our six residential cottages over the holidays.

SEFCU staff collected donations throughout the year and raised enough money to purchase six video game consoles with games, air hockey and Foosball tables, board games, and card games for each residential cottage! These generous gifts went a long way to make our youth feel special while away from their families.

Are you interested in shaping the lives of local youth? Let us know! Gateway has countless opportunities to inspire children who need it most.

Thank you, Girl Scouts of Williamsville!
Seven Girls Scout Troops from throughout Williamsville came together to support young girls at Gateway Longview. The Troops provided 32 care packages full of beauty supplies, clothing, accessories and more. To our youth, the packages are more than just presents, but a reminder that another girl is thinking of them during the holidays.

Congratulations, Pieber Family!
Adoption Completes Family in Time for Christmas

Ann Marie Moriarty Pieber and her husband, Frank Pieber, waited over two and a half years for the daughter that would complete their family just days before Christmas. On December 22, four-year-old Juliana officialy became part of Ann Marie and Frank’s “forever family” through adoption.

“Juliana is a blessing that came into our lives for a reason,” Ann Marie recalled fondly. “Her journey into our family is remarkable. We believe that Juliana actually found us,” Ann Marie said after she and her husand provided a safe and loving home for Juliana through two and a half years of foster care.
