Generous Time Off Package
Gateway Longview offers a generous time off package that includes vacation time, sick time, personal time, holidays, and floating holidays. Please note that school employees have different time-off eligibility, depending on position.
Medical and Dental Insurance
Medical and Dental insurance are available to employees who regularly work a minimum of twenty hours per week. Coverage is normally effective on the first day of the month following the date of hire.
403(b) Employee Savings Plan
A 403(b) plan is available to employees who wish to make tax-deferred contributions to their retirement savings. Participation in the 403(b) plan is voluntary and available to all employees earning a minimum of $200 per year, upon date of hire. The Agency provides a discretionary and matching contribution.
Gateway Longview provides a Group Term Life Insurance Plan for employees who have completed one year of service and who regularly work a minimum of twenty hours per week.
Long Term Disability
Gateway Longview provides Long Term Disability coverage for employees who have completed one year of service and who regularly work a minimum of twenty hours per week. Long Term Disability provides coverage for disability leaves that go beyond the twenty-six weeks covered by New York State Short Term disability.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts are available to employees who regularly work a minimum of twenty hours per week and enroll in certain medical plans. These accounts allow employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for unreimbursed health care expenses as well as dependent care expenses.
Employee Assistance Program
Gateway Longview provides assistance to employees who are in need of confidential services through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Our EAP provider refers employees to community resources where appropriate assessment, counseling and treatment services are provided.
