Gateway-Longview provides a thorough and competitive benefits package, which includes the following:
Paid Time Off
Vacation Time: 2 weeks after 6 months of employment; 4 weeks after one year of employment
Sick Time: 2 weeks per year
Personal Time: 3 days
Holidays: 9 holidays
Floating holidays: 3 floating holidays

Medical and Dental Insurance
Medical and Dental insurance are available to employees who regularly work a minimum of twenty hours per week. Coverage is normally effective on the first day of the month following the date of hire.
Pension Plan
Employees who are regularly scheduled to work at least 1,000 hours during a calendar year are eligible for enrollment upon completion of one year of employment. The entire cost of the plan is paid by Gateway-Longview. Employees reach one hundred percent vesting rights to the plan upon completion of five years of active employment from date of hire.
403(b) Employee Savings Plan
A 403(b) plan is available to employees who wish to make tax-deferred contributions to their retirement savings. Participation in the 403(b) plan is voluntary and available to all employees earning a minimum of $200 per year, upon date of hire. The Agency does not provide a matching contribution.
Life Insurance
Gateway-Longview provides a Group Term Life Insurance Plan for employees who have completed one year of service and who regularly work a minimum of twenty hours per week.
Long Term Disability
Gateway-Longview provides Long Term Disability coverage for employees who have completed one year of service and who regularly work a minimum of twenty hours per week. Long Term Disability provides coverage for disability leaves that go beyond the twenty-six weeks covered by New York State Short Term disability.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible Spending Accounts are available to employees who regularly work a minimum of twenty hours per week. Flexible Spending Accounts allow employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for unreimbursed health care expenses as well as dependent care expenses.
Employee Assistance Program
Gateway-Longview provides assistance to employees who are in need of confidential services through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Our EAP provider refers employees to community resources where appropriate assessment, counseling and treatment services are provided.
