    CORE VALUES

Safety for children. We believe that all children have a right to a physically and emotionally safe environment. We use all available resources to ensure this right.

Unwavering integrity in our work with clients. We believe in upholding the rights of those we serve by being honest, trustworthy, and respecting confidentiality.

Affect positive change. We believe that offering positive opportunities and support empowers those we serve to make beneficial choices and transform their lives.

    2006-2016 VISION

Guided by the Social Principles of the United Methodist Church we are regarded as a leader in the community and we enable children and their families to thrive.

We create outcomes. Our clients receive the most efficient and effective services possible.

Prevention is the key. When families and support systems work together, children excel.

We know what to do and we do it well. Collectively we are accountable for the quality of our services, our image in the community and the operation of our agency.

We lead and are governed by leaders. Gateway-Longview excels when government, business, communities, service providers and philanthropists work together. Our Board of Directors, administration and staff are thoughtful stewards of our financial resources..

    GUIDING PRINCIPLES

Integrity in all relationships. We believe in treating each other with dignity and respect. The same standards and expectations apply to all of us. We hold ourselves and each other accountable.

Expect, be and do the best. We believe that, as a recognized community leader, it is our individual and collective responsibility to do our best and offer the best available services to achieve desired outcomes for our clients. We effect positive change by fostering professional development and by using all available resources to implement best practices.

Our People, Our Culture. We believe that all staff and volunteers, regardless of their role are unique and valued. We embrace their individual contributions and life experiences.
