In 2015, over 150 Western New Yorkers attended the first annual Foster Family Fair to learn about helping children in our community. Still, the need for more foster homes has never been greater. Are you inspired to enrich the lives of children in need? Then consider joining us this Valentine’s Day Eve!
The second annual Foster Family Fair will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 from noon to 2 p.m. in Science Hall Commons at Canisius College, 2001 Main Street in Buffalo.
Gateway Longview will once again join other foster care agencies from Erie County to inform prospective foster parents of the important role they have in our community.
The Fair will give prospective foster parents the opportunity to:
- Meet current foster parents and hear their stories
- Learn about the training required to become a foster parent
- Meet representatives from all the local agencies that place foster children
The Fair is an ideal opportunity to meet and hear from committed, loving individuals– as well as some of the foster children to whom they have opened their homes and their hearts.
Valentine’s Day is the day dedicated to love – and Valentine’s Day Eve is an easy date to remember. We’re hoping you’ll join us on the 13th to find out if fostering is for you!
The Fair is free of charge and light refreshments will be served. For more information, please call us at (716) 783-2909 or visit www.FosterFair.com. We look forward to seeing you there!
